PURPOSE: TO RECRUIT TEAM PLAYERS, WHO ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE AND WHO HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
LOCATION: Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, Mississippi.
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Open to public. NAF employees of CBC, Gulfport and other Navy and Marine Corps activities and through the voluntary application file. Vacancies may be filled by methods other than promotions when the best qualified person can be obtained from other sources.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, directs, and monitors the operation of the NCBC Gulfport MWR RV Park. Establishes proper internal controls to protect income, minor property, fixed assets, supplies and records. Responsible for providing information and reservations of RV sites as well as ensuring all users of the RV Park abide by the rules and regulations of the park. Ensure that safe, clean and adequate facilities and equipment are available as well as ensuring that applicable inspections are conducted and deficiencies corrected. Supervises employees.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have general working knowledge of an RV Park and RV’s. Must possess the ability to understand and carry out both written and verbal instructions and convey the same to others. Must have the physical stamina to work outside sometimes in the heat and cold. A pleasing personality is required as the incumbent will interact with the public in the performance of duty. Must be able to operate a cash register, complete required paper work and reports without mistakes. Must be capable of handling monies placed in his/her care. Employee must have a valid driver license as they will have the use of an MWR golf cart. Position requires successful completion of National Agency background screening and issuance of a CAC card.

SPOUSAL PREFERENCE: The time period of eligibility for spousal preference begins 30 days before the military member's reporting date at a new duty station outside of the current duty station's commuting area and applies without time restriction except that spouses seeking preference with less than six months’ time remaining in the area may be non-selected.
