Youth Activities Center

The Youth Activities Center offers a variety of programs and events:

School-Age Care – this program offers age-appropriate childcare services for youth attending kindergarten through 12 years old.  Programs include Before & After-school care, school break camps, hourly care, and summer camps. Activities include arts and crafts, group games, field trips, guest speakers, volunteer projects, and special events. 

Youth Recreation – Pre-teen nights are available for 10-12-year-olds at the Teen Center throughout the year.  Please contact the Teen Center for details at 228-822-5074.

The MWR Youth Program also sponsors and co-sponsors various special events throughout the year that provide the base community with entertaining events that enhance their family's quality of life. 

The Youth Activities Center also runs 4H programs and is an affiliate member of the National Boys & Girls Club of America. Children enrolled in the School-Age Care and Recreation Program will be able to participate in five core program areas: Sports, Health & Wellness, Leadership & Service, The Arts, and Education & STEM.
